Netflix just dropped a documentary style series about the selling of narcotics across America. (In my opinion) It is so good. First of all, it’s shot and edited beautifully! But the content is so captivating. I use to obsess over ‘First 48’ so this is right up my alley.
Maybe I’m so interested because I’m so far removed from this life. Obviously you know it’s going on around you but it is not something I attend to. Particularly when thinking about the hardcore drugs like heroine and cocaine. Even more so, it illuminates systemic, class, and race issues. The show/ series is deep.
I’m simply offering my recommendation on something you can watch in Netflix when you’re bored AF! If you’re into drug, gang, police live action shows you might find this show just as riveting.
