There is a circulating myth that women of Color will not benefit from or should not get laser hair removal. I am living testament that this myth is not true. Technology is more advanced and definitely allows for women of Color to flourish!
I started laser hair removal treatments in September or 2016. I was over waxing and would not even think to pick up a razor, so I knew I needed an alternative. After crunching some numbers, I realized that I would potentially save money and, most importantly time, by going through with laser hair removal.
I found Sev Laser Aesthetic via instagram, which is so risky. The services I get are underarms ($30) and Brazilian ($50). I am very happy with my experience. I have seen a HUGE reduction in ingrown hairs, as well as hyper pigmentation. Even the texture of my hair has changed, become less coarse.
