While we stayed at the Surf Hotel at Patong Beach, the water was not the picturesque water Thailand is known for. As a result, we ventured out to get to better water. On day 6, we spent most of the day at Paradise Beach. It is 200 Baht (~$6/7) as an entrance. Crazy right? Pay to go to a beach. But it was definitely worth it. The water was so clear and the sand was so soft. There were many rocks on the floor so water shoes are suggested.
The beach is definitely for tourist as there are so many instagramable moments. There’s a coconut tree perfect for photos and a swing and tether ball swing. https://kandacewithak.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/img_4216.mov
Paradise beach was definitely a highlight of this vacation.
On day 7, we took a boat to Phi Phi Island for 700 Baht (~$24). Phi Phi is a beautiful island with beautiful waters. https://kandacewithak.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/imkandacenicoleb9dff7f1-6cdf-409f-8e4c-3ccb1f7d4afa.movHowever, the trip wasn’t really worth it. The amount of time we spent was so short that we could have better optimized the day by staying in Phuket. In the future, I would just stay a night in Phi Phi so that I can see what they really have to offer.
