I love simple makeup looks. I don’t have the time or patience to ever do anything excessive. Therefore, I always resort to the same look.
As of lately, I start with a primer either Dermalogica Skin Perfect Primer or NYX Pore Filler.
Next, I use LA GIRL orange color corrector. Followed by Sacha Cosmetics setting powder in Buttercup. I swear by this powder. It has replaced Ben Nye Banana powder.
Then, I move to the brows! I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in the color chocolate. I am very neutral about this product. I don’t hate it but I’m not woo’d by it either. I also am very loyal so I don’t like to switch up products often. After sculpting a brow, I do clean up with LA Girl concealer in either ‘Fawn’ or ‘Cool Tan’.
Some days I will start with my eyes first. Some days I will start with my face first.
For my eyes, I always use the LA Girl concealer as a eyeshadow base. Using the BH Cosmetics Neutral Eyes Palette, I use this shimmery gold all over the lid, a brown in the crease, and matte black on the outer lid for dimension. Simple!
I have fairly sensitive skin, so foundation is too heavy for me. I use KISS Beauty Balm (BB) in Light/Medium. I am able to build it up for maximum coverage or wear it by itself for a natural look. I use LA Girl concealer in ‘Cool Tan’ for my highlight. I use a generous portion because I find it evens your complexion. Of course setting it with Sacha Cosmetics ‘Buttercup’ setting powder.
In my “Go-To” routine I don’t contour but instead use NARS Bronzer in Casino. Using bronzer helps me look sun-kissed.
Using MAC Fix+, I spray my entire face. I then use two highlighters from the Carli Bybel palette. Find a similar palette here.
AND THEN I’M DONE!
I always do my makeup before showering so I can get an even more dewy look.
