Now that I have a few stamps on my passport, I think I’m the experienced traveler. Here’s a list of my travel essentials.
-
- A comfy pair of shoes. I opted for Vans for this past trip, but I normally wear Nikes or Chucks.
- A hard case carry-on luggage. I absolutely hate checking a bag out of fear of my bag getting lost. I purchased a hard-case luggage from Amazon that I love. (Click picture to purchase)
3. A good jacket. I bought an oversized denim jacket from Lola Shoetique sometime last year and it is my favorite travel jacket. It has inside pockets which perfectly fit my passport and phone.
4. A portable phone charger. Sitting in the airport can be long and boring. While there are often many charging stations, they are crowded and force you to be stationary. I purchased a great portable charger (Click picture to purchase). Also, a good converter is necessary.
5. An eye mask. I only recently purchased one (found here) and I’m so glad I did. I’ve gotten some of the best sleep! (Click picture to purchase)

6. Aloe Vera gel. This is a mandatory in my cosmetics case. It’s needed for sun burns, bug bites and everyday moisture.
- While this list is not exhaustive, it covers the things that I cannot travel without. What are some of your essentials?
Things that I will add to my essentials list for my next trip:
-
- Luggage bags to compartmentalize everything.
- Compression socks
