I will never work retail again. Not that there is anything wrong with working retail, but it is truly not for me. *side-note* I am extremely appreciative of the people who can and do work retail. You have patience like no other!
For a little over a year, I worked as a cashier at a Nike store in Los Angeles. The allure of working at Nike really drew me in. I love sneakers and I knew I would get a massive discount. I also initially had hopes of one day working at Nike corporate in their social giving department. HOWEVER, after actually working at Nike, I am certain I will NEVER work retail again. I do not like being micro-managed, nor do I like cleaning behind other people. I have some other reasons that you can learn about by watching the video below
