My Sister’s Grave is a suspense thriller with a very crazy, unexpected ending.
I was recommended this book by a friend and I was completely unsure of whether or not I would like it. It starts off somewhat slow. The premise is that this detective’s sister’s went missing and her remains surfaced nearly 20 years later. The uncovering of her remains revealed many mishaps in the trial.
If you have read previous reviews, you know I do not reveal many details of the books but rather give my recommendation of whether or not I would suggest the book. If you enjoyed Girl on the Train or even Gone Girl, you would probably love this book. The story eventually picks up and draws you in to the point where you do not want to put it down.
There is no doubt in my mind that they would not make this into a movie if the chance is given. It has cinematic appeal, if written and filmed correctly.
Would I recommend?
Yes. Not only because the story is great, but this is also a series. I love a series! I will definitely be reading the others just so that I get the full story!
