If you cannot tell by now, I absolutely love to read. It is one of my most favorite pastimes. My mother stressed reading to me as a little kid and this same passion has overflowed into my adulthood. Since I love sharing the books that I read, I have considered starting a virtual book club.
This month’s selection
We will read independently and discuss collectively An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. I didn’t expect to read this book so fast, but I finished it within a week. It is quite the love story which also highlights the criminalization of Black men. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
