I normally do not really like to celebrate my birthday but this year I had the grand idea of getting dressed and eating at fairly expensive restaurants around the city.
Night 1: Javier’s (Century City)
I love Mexican food (a Los Angeles staple). I have always wanted to try Javier’s because I have heard exceptional things about the food. I had the shrimp and crabmeat enchiladas, which come with rice and beans, and a side of elote corn. Being that Century City is a somewhat casual place, I decided to wear this off-the-shoulder knit from Naked Wardrobe paired with heels from Zara (that I bought almost 2 years ago).
Night 2: Crustacean Beverly Hills
It’s been some time since I have been to Crustacean and I truly missed the food. Since it’s Beverly Hills, I thought “Why not bring out the [faux] fur?!” This skirt is from Pretty Little Thing, bodysuit and jacket from BooHoo. The shoes are an old buy from Forever 21 over 3 years old.
Night 3: Ocean Prime Beverly Hills
On my actual birthday, I went to Ocean Prime for dinner. This was not my initial outfit but the weather was so bad here in Los Angeles (right?!) that I had to forego the original plan. I wore a sheer kimono from Naked Wardrobe (about a year old), bodysuit from BooHoo, and a tweed skirt from SheIn.
I thoroughly loved my birthday! All I wanted to do was get dressed and eat. The weather threw a wrench into my plans but I truly did love my looks. I can’t wait for 2020 Sip & Slay!
