One of my goals for this year is to travel at least once a month. I define travel by being away from home for more than thirty-six hours. That’s short, I know, but a getaway is a getaway! Some of my trips are already booked, or close to being booked, while others are truly wishes.
New York
I really love New York. I have never been during the winter and will experience my first time in the winter within the next week. I will probably be in NY multiple times this year because I have to go during the summer.
Las Vegas, Nevada
At some point this year, I need just one night in Vegas and that is it! Las Vegas is truly the devil’s playground and I don’t need the hangover. However, it is always such a good time!
Miami, Florida
I came to the realization that Miami is Vegas of the east coast. Not that it is a bad thing, but I definitely do not want to spend more than 3 days in Miami. I want to go back just for the Chicken Alfredo on Ocean Drive!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
This summer I will be headed to Philly for sorority business. My sorority is hosting their national convention where over 100,000 Alpha women will be coming into town. I can’t wait to get a cheesesteak and explore the city.
Honolulu, Hawaii
When I was younger, my best friend and I would go to Hawaii every summer. We would go to the island of Kauai so I have never been to Honolulu. I always feel that the flights to Hawaii are too expensive and I can just go internationally for the price but I really want to go.
Paris, France
This Spring, I am going to Paris for the very first time. I am beyond excited. I want to see the Eiffel Tower, eat escargot, make a beret and, most importantly, go to Disneyland Paris. I also want to buy some designer items so that I can get the money back from the VAT tax. I will be sure to blog the seven days that I am there.
Tokyo, Japan
I love Asian food and Asian cultures. Soooo, I think I want to celebrate my 30th birthday in Asia. I really want to go to Tokyo because it seems very fast pace, a great place for shopping and, of course, Disneyland. I am not sure that Toyko is the best during the winter but I hope to be in Asia for 30.

At some point this year, I for sure want to go to Bali. It looks so beautiful and I hear it is very cost-effective. I love all the pictures that I see other people post so I definitely want to see it for myself.
My 2020 travel list is somewhat extensive but I think doable. I would love to squeeze a Mexico trip and of course San Francisco/Oakland.
