After getting the Nike x Stussy collab in this same silhouette, I knew that I would have to get another pair. I love the upper on these shoes so much. Watch below as I unbox these beauties.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 was first released in 2003 but is as relevant today as it was then. The lightweight design features an aged Zoom Air unit for a responsive ride back to the 2000s.
This was a European exclusive so I had to purchase from one of my favorite overseas retailers. There are not many retailers that ship worldwide, but when you are on a sneaker hunt, there’s nothing that you won’t do.
Nike also released these shoes in a pistachio color. One of my favorite sneaker bloggers, Sherlinanym, was spotted wearing that color. I decided to go with the ‘saffron’ colorway because I am really attracted to the color yellow right now. Yellow can mean many things. In many cultures, yellow means happiness, optimism, of enlightenment and creativity, sunshine and spring. On the other hand, yellow can also me cowardice, betrayal, egoism, and madness. I don’t exactly know what this all means in relation to me. I just know that I am attracted to this color a lot right now.
