Life is Gucci! I was looking for heels that I can throw on when I don’t want to be stiletto walking. The Gucci Marmont block heel is the perfect shoe for day parties and brunches.
There’s no question that I absolutely love Gucci. The fashion house has been able to stay current and relevant throughout the years. I believe that the GG Marmont style is so classic so these shoes were a must.
Style
This is not a silhouette that I would look for typically. These shoes are only 3 inches tall. While I prefer a 4/4.5 inch heel, I knew that I wanted these shoes for those occasions when I didn’t want to be stiletto walking. These are perfect for those occasions when you want to be cute but not doing the most.
Sizing
Most Gucci shoes run large but according to their size guide, this are true to size. As most women, my left foot is slightly larger than my right foot. I bought size 41 which is a Gucci 11. In many heels, I get a 42 but these fit perfect by going down a whole size.
Price
As many luxury items, these are also not cheap. At a price point of $770, these are something that I really had to think about before splurging on. When considering luxury purchases, I think of whether or not I will get a sufficient amount of wear for the price. I also consider how seamless the item can fit into my current wardrobe. With these shoes being Black, I knew that I would be able to wear them with a number of different things.
Unboxing
I currently have my eyes on the Gucci Ace sneakers. While I do already have a pair, I don’t have the signature, classic pair (pictured below).
