Ivystorehouse ended the 2020 year with a wonderful Ivy Box that featured rose gold themed items. In this blog post, I will detail what was featured and how I will use them.
As I do every month, I have included an unboxing video to show what was featured in the December Ivy Box.
First, the box was extremely late. I know that postal services are so backed up and still trying to recover from the holiday rush. Subscribers normally receive boxes during the last week of the month but I did not receive this box until the second week of January. My box was also missing a theme card, which is a bit odd. I have never received a box that did not have a theme card. Unfortunately, I do not know what the theme is but I can assume it has something to do with overcoming the crazy year of 2020 and planning ahead for 2021.
What is in the Ivy box?
The first item is a pair of pink socks that read on the bottom “Strolling In My Dreams”. These socks are very cute. I wish they had more green detail at the top of the sock but nonetheless, they will still get worn.
Next, there is a silver frame with rose gold tea roses and lettering that reads AKA. I do not think I will be keeping this frame. It definitely caters to a more seasoned member and I currently have no place for it amongst my home decor.
Next, there is a 2021 planner. The planner features quotes from members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. It also has awesome features like a habit tracker, water intake, and budget tools. While I already have my own planner that I have customised for this year, I do think this is a great alternative.I have already decided to donate this item to another one of my sisters.
Lastly, the box came with yet another sweater. This is a very good sweater that fits with the theme of the box by having rose gold embroidery. The material is a thick knit that would be greater for some of those colder days. While I do like this sweater, I definitely do not need another one.
