One thing about being a housewife, you better be able to provide receipts to back up any of your claims. In the second episode of the RHOBH, we get a dazzling episode of backing up whatever you say.
The episode starts with Dorit and PK revisiting their break-in. In true Dorit fashion she shared a story about a bee that made absolutely no sense. Girl what are you talking about! However, that is a confessional look! I am completely obsessed.
It’s Team Sutton, Garcelle, and Crystal around here. They each provide an authenticity and genuineness that is needed on the stuff. It is the complete antithesis of Erika, Lisa, and Kyle. I am glad that Crystal and Sutton were able to get past their rift that took place last season because they are the supreme trio on the show right now.
Is This Party Even Real?
It now makes sense why Rinna would be willing to cancel the party because it was all staged for RHOBH production. I can’t imagine turning SEVENTY and my children and actual friends aren’t present. Lisa was also strategic in the seating arrangements. I didn’t understand why the couples would not be seated together. Even more so, I think that Lisa made sure to keep Sutton away from Harry because she knew that Sutton would bring up the alleged text message. In a deleted scene from last week’s episode, we see Garcelle and Sutton discuss the text message where Garcelle thinks that Lisa sent the message, and I have to agree. Why would a husband insert himself into housewives business?
Did you notice how the men casually stepped away while the women got down to women’s business. Sutton is a stand-up gal. She knew that she made a mistake and was willing to stand on it and apologize. Yet, Lisa kept the mess going by trying to say that Sutton backed out on the table at the charity event. The look on Sutton’s face was absolutely priceless because one thing for certain is that the money is long enough to cover a table at a charity event. I absolutely loved that Garcelle stood up/spoke for Sutton. Garcelle was correct in saying this is your time to say whatever you need to say. Also, Diana being the underwriter for the event and choosing not to confirm or deny was proof enough that Lisa was not telling the truth.
Crystal’s face was all of us during this whole exchange.
Lisa was so “not thrilled” about what Sutton said on Watch What Happens Live but as soon as Sutton delivered the receipts now Rinna wants to never talk about it again. As soon as Lisa saw that paper, she wanted to call the whole thing embarrassing and classless. Lisa tried to say that Sutton backed out of buying a table, however a photo of them at the event has also surfaced. Lisa is so full of shit!
Side note: Erika should have kept quiet through the whole exchange. Her repeating slander was so unnecessary. You have enough legal woes you need to be focused on. Even more so, asking Sutton for an apology like that was going to ever happen is so delusional. I am so glad that Sutton said, “”you aren’t getting on because I don’t like you”
More Like Frenemies
As each episode continues, it is clear that Kyle is not Sutton’s friend and is trying to stir up unnecessary drama. In the premiere episode, she hoped that Sutton would join the pity party for Dorit and Sutton paid it no mind. Now in this episode, we see that Kyle went to Dorit to spill about what Sutton said. In my opinion, that was completely unnecessary and even inconsiderate. Dorit has enough to deal with and now you are piling more drama on top of it. Instead of being a friend and inquiring about why she had such a response, Kyle immediately went to blame. Sutton has previously shared her father’s suicide but also revealed she experienced her own home invasion. Kyle is expecting for everyone to have the same reaction which is absolutely not fair. Sutton asks, “What was I supposed to do Kyle?” and honestly we all would like to know.
Sutton and Lisa in their faux make-up, showing admiration for each other was also cringey. I am glad that Garcelle called it out in front of them unlike Kyle who waited to whispered to Garcelle.
The Newbie in Town
It seems as though production is trying to recreate the love viewers had when Yolanda joined the cast. Yet, for some reason I cannot connect with Diana. Of course, it is still early but there is something that I can’t quite pinpoint that is off. I do like that she is swimming in money. I completely agree with the logic of when you’ve been poor for so long sometimes you want to live rich. In the same vein, being 48 and having a newborn can truly only be possible if you’re rich. Who wants to care for a newborn at that age.
I almost feel as though Diana is too big for RHOBH so why join? I hope this reveals itself throughout the season. She seems as though she would be a one (season) and done and I wouldn’t be surprised.
RHOBH Offline
Word on the street is that we are going to see another side of Kathy Hilton by the end of the season. Allegedly, Kathy let off some homophobic and racial slurs while the cast traveled to Aspen for the cast trip. Rinna, of course, added in her two cents as well. Now, I love Kathy Hilton because she is so aloof. Yet, if these allegations are true, I hate that she has publicly created allegiances with Garcelle, Crystal, and Sutton. There’s no way that Kathy can be friends with these women and also say these things. At the same time, there’s no way that Garcelle and Crystal can be friends with Kathy following such an incident. I hope these things are not true.
