If you spend any amount of time on Tik Tok, you will see so many videos of creators sharing their fence finds. In this blog post, I will share my experience of becoming a DHGate affiliate.
Signing Up To Be A DHGate Affiliate
Signing up to be an affiliate on DHGate is fairly easy. All it requires is signing up for the program on the bottom of the home page. You can also use my referral link here.
After signing up, you will be able to access your “workplace”, which displays all your orders and commissions. This gives you a clear, visual few of all the money you could be making.
When signing up, it is very important to link your media channels because it will be used to show sellers your following and reach to get free products.
Getting Sample (Free) Products
As an affiliate, you can get FREE products. On the left panel of the DHGate workspace, you will see a tab that says ‘Sample Products’. You will see the option to click ‘Get Sample’. This will take you to another screen that shows you the seller’s requirements to get a sample product. Some requirements often include follower count, location, or even language.
Once you find a sample that you like, you will submit an application to the seller. The seller would love over your analytics and decided to either ship the product or cancel. You can only have 3 active sample orders at a time, so it is important to not only select products you are actually interested in, but also being mindful that the shipping times vary greatly.
Sharing To Your Audience
After submitting an application for a free product, you must provide a link to your review that you shared with your audience. I have created a fun series on my Youtube channel, called Real or Fake?, where I showcase products and viewers have to determine if it is real or fake. Amongst my socials, Youtube has the greatest following and so it makes the most sense to drive traffic and viewership to that platform.

Making a Commission
Being a DHGate affiliate is a great way to make additional income. Commission varies by product, with higher ticket items normally having a greater commission. I have been an affiliate for less than a year and have pocketed a good amount of money. Of course with everything, the more consistent and persistent the higher the revenue.
