I recently bought another Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, which now has sparked my interest in going full in on creating the best Speedy collection in this world (not literally, but literally)! When I think of a great bag collection, I think of variety. Timeless pieces mixed with unique and limited edition bags as well. The most important thing for me is being able to buy the bags that younger Kandace was unable to get, afford, or always wanted.
The History of the Speedy Bag

The Speedy was first introduced in 1930 as the “Express”, designed after a smaller version of the luggage bag, the Keepall, with the original dimensions being 30cm. The appeal of the speedy skyrocketed after one of the original IT girls, Audrey Hepburn, requested that the fashion house make the bag in an even smaller dimension, 25cm. The bag is now available in nano, 20cm, 25cm, 30cm, 35cm, and 40cm.
My Most Recent Speedy Bag – Speedy 25 Bandoulière
I picked up a Speedy 25 Bandoulière while visiting Arizona for my birthday. When I went into Louis Vuitton, I thought that I was going to buy a Pochette Metis but instead got the Speedy 25. I absolutely love it. Having a purse with a strap that could be worn crossbody was most important to me. The Speedy 25 Bandoulière offers the best versatility while also being a good everyday bag. Head over to my TikTok to see an unboxing and a brief vlog of my shopping experience.
I also bought a purse organizer from Amazon that helps to protect the bottom of the bag while also keeping the bag in tip top condition.

Damier Azur Speedy 30 Bandoulière

I love the Damier Azur print because it gives the feeling of being so light and airy. I think this is the perfect print for Spring and Summer. I want this bag because it would help to round out my collection and would be the perfect option for sunny days in Los Angeles.
Stephen Sprouse x Louis Vuitton

Often known as the graffiti Speedy, one of my favorite collaborations has been the Sprouse collection. I am absolutely obsessed with the graffiti-like print on the bag. It is a must that I own one of these bags. My favorite is the camo green print but I would also love the white print or neon print. As I am searching for this bag, the most important thing that I am looking for is condition and price.
Yayoi Kusama x Louis Vuitton

I find this pattern so fun and fascinating. The pattern covers most of the canvas but those small peaks of the LV are too cute. I definitely want this bag in a fun color like yellow or white but I’d pretty much settle for anything!
Murakami x Louis Vuitton

I definitely need a Takasi Murakami piece. I often switch between owning a Speedy 30 or Nano Speedy. Either way, I know that I want the black multicolor piece because it appears to hold up better than the white multicolor.

Murakami has made my absolute favorite Speedy bag and I WILL have one in my possession before I leave this Earth. The camouflage Speedy is such an iconic bag and it is super rare. The resale price on this bag is insane! But one thing I know is that I will work my behind off to get one of these bags.
This is just a portion of the bags that I would hope to add to my collection. Now, I just need to figure out how I can afford them all!
