We all love high fashion, but we all don’t want to have to break the bank to get it. Here are some tips on how to secure luxury items.
Create your luxury wishlist and save your money!
It is important to create a luxury wishlist so that you are not chasing what is popular or hot at the moment. Creating the list helps you be mindful and intentional on exactly what you want. Once you have your list, you can begin to determine how much you need to save for whatever the desired item may be. Personally, I revisit my wishlist at the beginning of every month. If I did good on my spending the month prior, I treat myself. I am the biggest advocate for treating yourself.
On my current wishlist is an Hermes clic clac bracelet in either white/gold or black/gold. I also want some Hermes Oran sandals, but with the seasons changing I can hold on that purchase until it begins to warm up again.

Make your list!
Pre-loved items are okay!
I am the biggest supporter of consignment sites. In most cases, you are able to get luxury items without having to pay full price. Additionally, there’s a possibility that the items will not be used. For example, I bought some Balenciaga trainers from Fashionphile, one of my favorite luxury consignment sites, and they were new.
There have been instances where I have bought luxury items and I had to question their authenticity. I tried to buy some Gucci Ace sneakers from eBay and they were definitely fake. Luckily, I was able to get my money back. The Real Real has also been known to sell inauthentic items. This is the only downside from consignment shopping, but I love it.
Find someone else to pay!
Your other alternative is to get someone else to buy it. Maybe you get a sugar daddy/mama, maybe they are gifts, maybe a Chanel just happens to fall in your lap. Whatever the case might be, it’s always nicer to get luxury things when your own bank account doesn’t have to suffer.
Create your own version of Luxury
Luxury is whatever you want it to be and whatever makes you happy. For me, it is material things but not limited to it. Luxury is also an experience. Define it for yourself and live it up to the fullest!
